Definitely the place to go for your next event! Alena and her entire team are awesome and will make sure all of your needs are met. The Winery and the entire venue are absolutely gorgeous! We attended a wedding there and from beginning to end it was top notch service, I will definitely be booking and event and doing tastings there!-Thanks so much for your kindness and an awesome time!
Bunch of his girlfriends went for their 4th of July celebration. This was the first time most of us had been there, and we did enjoy their property. It is lovely and relaxing. We were out in the lawn in our lawn chairs for about 4 hours, and it was so hot and humid even though we had a little bit of shade from a tree. We met two of the owners and they were both fantastic! I'm not a big wine drinker, so I explained my what I disliked about wine to the gentleman, and he suggested the plum wine. I am glad he did, because it was very good and did not have that typical aftertaste that wine has. I also tried a wine slushie, just because it was so hot outside to cool us down. It did help with that some, but there were only two options to choose from and I didn't care for either (too tart). So I only drank about half of it, which is even more disappointing because it's $14 a glass! We also tried a couple of their pizzas, and they were good. The also had a school bus food truck that was delicious. The downside is definitely the music. There were three musical acts, and two of them were pretty unbearable to listen to. They were like the kind of music that comes in and plays at the memory care centers and the nursing homes I work at. Even when they tried to play a more current song, it sounded like a lullaby. There was one lady that's sang an octave too high, and it was quite difficult to listen to, and she was in the first band and the third band! After about 10 minutes of listening to the third band, we had to pick up and go. The gentleman that played in the middle was good though and he played the blues and he was significantly better than the other two acts. I would think if they would get some better music in their, they would have more customers. This music catered to an extremely elderly crowd, most of the people there were not. We will definitely go back, but pick a day when there's better music. I recommend anybody that would like to try their wines, comes into do a tasting, a flight, or purchase a glass, and meet the owners.
Very quaint winery surprisingly located in a neighborhood setting (not that they have a vineyard or such). The wines and drinks are heavy on the fruit side (pomegranate, cranberry, sulshies etc.) however the Cityscape merlot was delicious and my husband claims the plum wine was the best he has ever had. The cheese and meat plate definitely left something to be desired with only 4 or 5 slices of the fat-iest of meat and far too many overly salty wheat thin type knock off crackers. Won't fall for that again but the wood fired pizzas looked very tasty. We will return!
The ladies were extremely nice and the tastings were VERY generous. We did 5 tastings each & let’s just say we had a good feeling on the way to the next winery LOL! We tried the sweet wines and to be completely honest we were not impressed with any of them. Then we tried the cake but they were out of the blackberry so we got 2 of the chocolate and that was fantastic. The other one we both took one bite of and had a hard time swallowing that.
We had an amazing time! The owner was so nice and answered all of our questions. The wine was some of the best wine I have ever had. We read reviews before going and had high expectations that were far exceeded. The back patio was so comfortable and the food was amazing. Anyone trying to find a nice low key place for a date or day trip with friends should definitely go to Wyandotte. We will be going back every chance we get!
