Pretty nice gym where equipment is not too crowded. But beware! There's a guy at the front desk who tries to swindle you out of all the online deals! In my case, I was just briefly visiting home from school and was under the impression that I could use a 3 day pass to temporarily try out the gym I case I end up an area with one (I have one back at school but it's a bit too far). But apparently you have to be a local to use the 3 day pass--otherwise it's $16/day...I COULD NOT FIND ANYWHERE ON THE YOUFIT WEBSITE WHERE IT SAYS THIS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND--YOU WILL BE SWINDLED OUT OF YOUR MONEY. Some other reviewers would most certainly agree with me.

I like this gym. John was very nice and helpful. 3-day passes are always nice. Kind of has a mix of powerlifting feel and a planet fitness. Get in, get out straightforward workouts. Dumbbells and free weights are excellent. Plenty of plates don't have to go searching for once

I've been going here ever since. The youfit on 66th Street North closed. I find it a pleasant place to go. However, the front desk people are not very knowledgeable or flexible and working with you on certain terms. It seems like there's different rules for different people and different prices for different people. Also the air conditioner in the class only room has been out for over 2 weeks. It's okay, but not the best gym to go to.

I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve been working up the courage for months to get my life back on track…..mentally, physically, emotionally. After a really hard stretch of unhealthy habits, I finally put on my workout clothes, drove myself to YouFit in Tyrone, and was ready to take that first big step. Instead, I was met with one of the most demoralizing, disrespectful interactions I’ve ever had. The man with the long beard at the front desk was rude from the moment we walked in. Absolutely condescending. He made up rules that aren’t posted anywhere, treated me like I was a burden for even trying to get a workout in, and made it very clear that I wasn’t welcome at YouFit. No grace. No human decency. Just straight-up attitude and power-tripping. I wasn’t being difficult. I was just trying to move my body for the first time in five years. He acted like I was a criminal for wanting to use the gym. That 10-minute interaction undid all of the progress I’d made in my head. I left feeling ashamed, defeated, and humiliated. My trip to YouFit was supposed to be my first step back to health. Instead, I spiraled. I’ve been eating and drinking my way through the last few days. I’m crushed by how quickly one negative experience can shatter motivation. If you’re someone struggling to get back on track, I genuinely warn you: don’t let this place be your first stop. It very well might be your last.

This gym is my safe space to get my workouts in. I have never felt judged or intimidated coming in here to get my sweat on. The staff are extremely nice & accommodating to young adults as well as 60+. This is the gym to go to if you don’t like crowds because it’s never felt too packed inside. To top it all off, they give back to the community. Just last week they did a fundraiser across all YouFits to raise money for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in honor of Bradley. All in all, I’d recommend!
