I took my puppy to this clinic for an ear issue. The vet diagnosed possible ringworm on his left ear after using a Wood’s lamp and prescribed an antifungal cream. No swab or diagnostic test was taken to confirm ringworm, and my concerns about his right ear — which I specifically mentioned were not properly examined. Only after they diagnosed ringworm and I raised the right ear AGAIN, they brought out their otoscope and said ‘they couldn’t see anything’ and that ‘it could be a mite’. They then proceeded with advising me to disinfect my house, wash his bedding everyday and get myself checked for ringworm infection! After discussing the unlikeliness of ringworm with the breeder, I went to another clinic for a second opinion. There, we received a thorough examination, including an ear swab, which confirmed a yeast infection in the right ear — not ringworm. Once treated with the correct ear drops, his symptoms resolved within days. When I raised my concerns with this clinic, the response was dismissive and unsatisfactory. They maintained that the antifungal cream prescribed for the left ear would have resolved the issue in the right ear, despite the fact that the right ear was never properly examined or treated. This explanation does not align with the actual outcome or with basic diagnostic standards. Someone please make me understand how application of an Anti-fugal cream to the left ear would get rid of yeast infection in the right ear! If I had relied solely on their initial diagnosis and treatment, my puppy’s condition would have persisted unnecessarily. This experience left me with little confidence in the thoroughness of the examination or the professionalism of the follow-up communication. Their responses to my emails were defensive with zero acknowledgment of their lack of care. They blamed my puppy for being difficult and too sore to do a thorough examination. This is not true. I hope that in future if they cannot with certainty diagnose, they take the time to reexamine or simply refer to a more experienced clinic.

Yesterday my partner brought our very unwell kitten to this vet to see what was wrong with him. After 10 minute consult which was very rushed since there was another customer to see afterwards, she got kicked out and told to return today for a script. A novel idea in treatment of sick pets, you could say a conveyor belt approach. Interestingly enough, you didn't see the cost efficiency benefit one normally associates with conveyors as she got charged twice for the "experience".

Our dog was treated by Dr Maddie for an eye problem. She was amazing, very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. She checked our dog thoroughly, whilst keeping the dog at ease, and of course receiving numerous treats helped! Thanks to Dr Maddie she is recovering well.

Our local vet and where we adopted Miss Ruby, this surgery is always busy but staff are always helpful and sympathetic in spite of scritches from nervous cats. Totally recommended! The murals on the wall outside are worth seeing even if you have no pets.
