I travelled all the way from Melbourne to Sydney just to have my dogs groomed by Shirley, and I can honestly say it was 100% worth it. This was Euro and Elieo’s very first truly perfect groom in their lives. Shirley’s work is not just grooming – it’s art combined with a deep understanding of dog structure, coat texture, and individuality. The balance of their faces, the round yet natural “soufflé” muzzle, the clean lines, the fluffy but proportionate legs – everything is immaculate. Nothing looks overdone, forced, or trendy for the sake of trends. It’s simply perfect for them. What impressed me most is that Shirley clearly understands that a beautiful groom should enhance a dog’s natural structure, not fight against it. Both dogs look soft, healthy, confident, and completely themselves. You can see from every angle how much thought and care went into every detail. On top of the technical skill, Shirley is incredibly gentle, patient, and respectful with dogs. As an owner, you feel at ease the moment you hand your dogs over. I don’t say this lightly: This is the best grooming experience my dogs have ever had. If you are someone who truly cares about quality, aesthetics, and your dog’s wellbeing, Yuumi Pet and Shirley are absolutely worth travelling for. We will 100% be back. Couldn’t be happier with the grooming service here! We travel from Canberra every 5 weeks and it’s totally worth it. A huge shoutout to Shirley and Nick for their wonderful care of our Melon. He always comes out looking clean and fluffy (handsome of course😏)! You can really tell how much effort and care they put into their work. Highly recommend to any dog owner, we’ll definitely keep coming back!

Shirley at Yuumi Pet has been taking care of my dog Chestnut's grooming for nearly a year now. She is absolutely fantastic! Every single time, Chestnut comes home with the cuttest look, his fur is incredibly soft and silky, and he smells super nice. More importantly, Chestnut genuinely enjoys going there. Mocha has been coming to Yummy Pet since her very first grooming and we’ve never changed! The staff are super gentle and caring, and Mocha always comes out looking adorable. My 15.5 year old dog who doesn’t usually live in Sydney went for a groom today and he doesn’t like being touched on face and paws. These guys were amazing! So gentle and so lovely . He seems happier and he is so clean. Very happy with the service and cost. Highly recommend
