Kim and I had a great morning. I had my feet done with a Birthday special. They feel great. Darcy, Hailey, Marina were the best. I laughed the whole time. It was a therapeutic experience.

I was a fool After avoiding this place for several years, I was surprised to get a call for a birthday package: body cocoon and facial. The staff has always been excellent as the experience. It's the end product that has always disappointed. The "body cocoon" was a quick and light oiled massage before being re covered under the blanket for the facial. Barely a combo deal. All the steps felt great, the productcsell/ingo i ciukd fo without and as always, there was some sort of oil residue left 🤢 I rolled my eyes and wiped my face. On this occasion, I had mentioned when booking that I'd had acrylic nails done that were growing out. They said they only do gels but would discount the removal. So I agreed. I went with a shellacpolish as im away for a while and wanted the color to last. The paint job was bad, like i could've done my right hand with my left bad. The borders were all past or above my cuticle. This was after almost 3 hours! Also, the gel nails were explained to be more sensitive to strain, but when one broke getting back up off the massage table, I was shocked. They offered to fix it tomorrow. After having several more chips and some of the shellac come off (feels more like rubber than hardened polish) I am going to call and cancel. I will happily pay again to have it done well. Should've in the first place. (Venetian at St Vital 😉)

We were so incredibly disappointed with our first and last experience at this salon. We thought we’d try it out due to the many positive reviews I’d read. Not sure how our experience could be so polar opposite of those folks who said they had a great experience. The staff were very friendly, but that’s where it ended for us. We got the worst gel nail manicure ever! The nail thickness applied was so bad they looked like chicklets were stuck on to our nails. The shaping of the nails and polish application was absolutely horrible! Polish where it didn’t belong and almost every finger with blank spots. The chairs were also extremely uncomfortable and there was no mechanism to support my foot or leg during the filing of my heals. It was very awkward and totally uncomfortable. We usually get unique designs put on our nails but given the incompetence of the technicians with applying plain polish we didn’t even ask them to try. My sister was so upset with how badly her nails were done that she made an appointment with her regular aesthetician to redo her nails the next day!

Spa itself is good. It’s the staff, well the two gals I have had are so great. I get two services done. I don’t have to do anything, they text when my next appointment is due. Products are really good, have been using them for awhile. Have some new skin care products to try next time. Just saying I drive just over an hour to get there. 😊
