I’ve taken both group classes and private lessons here, and I can’t recommend it enough. The studio itself is beautiful and inspiring, being in Chinatown really adds to the creative energy and makes you feel like an artist the moment you walk in. William is the best art teacher I’ve had. He has a very systematic way of teaching and gives exactly the right amount of instruction based on what each person needs. He’s incredibly professional, organized, and clearly a real working artist, which makes a huge difference in how he teaches.

This was a great experience! William is a great teacher and explains things in a way I actually understand. I learned and improved so much from how he teaches. I took his Artistic Anatomy class, Composition class, Anatomy of a portrait class, and his introduction to Classical Drawing. I will definitely take more in the future!
