Bowling is bowling but getting a drink or food is a major pain. They have an ordering screen but they asked people to not use it. If it wasn't working or not ideal then put a sign that says out of order on it. Took about 35 minutes to get fries and nachos. Had to eat fast before our lane time ended. Food was typical fried food.
This bowling alley seems very well run to me. The lanes are clean and the seating areas are regularly wiped off by staff. The food was very good and way better than what I would expect for a bowling alley. I would put it up with several restaurants in the area. At least the night we were there, the fellow bowlers were very courteous and respectful.
This location is no longer open. However, this location is still listed as being open and even has listings through groupon with this address. When you call the listed number it directs you to 222 W44th Street which is a completely different company, fun works . When my friends and I called we learned they are not affiliated with this and would not honor our groupon. Sharing this to make sure no one else runs into the same issues we did.
We’ve been coming to park lanes for two years on Sunday evenings with our grandson. The staff that works there always makes or outings more fun. In the last few months, Sabrina has made the evening even more special. Shes a nice addition to the staff. We always enjoy her warm personality.
Family fun center is such a fitting name. The environment is so fun but the staff make you feel like family. We threw a surprise party for my mother who fell ill the day of the party! I called the day of our party and Wyatt was so understanding and helpful in assuring me there would be no trouble rescheduling. The manager, Jason, called me the next business day to process the reschedule. The day of the party Sabrina, the amazing bar tender, went above and beyond to make sure my mother had a wonderful party. She took our group photos, videos, and even provided a commemorative gift for the occasion. Really appreciate the staff at Park Lanes Family Fun Center. Highly recommend for any group outing!
