I took in 3 watches to have batteries replaced and links taken out. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the service track was fast and did a great job. I have always liked Windsor Jewelry for the great service!
I visited Windsor Jewelry for the first time under its new ownership over the holidays. First, there was easy on-street parking within a block of the store, though they also validate parking in a nearby garage. The store is a few doors off the Circle in downtown which was fun to visit with all the holiday decorations. I was greeted (not aggressively) by sales staff but soon found myself talking to the owners and viewing some memorabilia hanging in the store reflecting its 100+ years in business. I was shopping for my wife and had some general ideas based on what she wears (and doesn’t) when it comes to jewelry. The very knowledgeable staff showed me several options, one of which I purchased at a very fair price. I should add the one of the owners told me that the store employs a master jeweler who can repair and even fabricate pieces. (This interested me because some years ago we took the diamond from my wife’s engagement ring and had it set with two others in a new ring as part of an anniversary celebration. It’s nice to know of a new place where a project like that can be handled.) This was an excellent experience and I recommend Windsor Jewelry without qualification.
Multiple persons at Windsor were extremely helpful in finding the perfect necklace. I entered the store minutes before closing time, but they treated me as if it was the beginning of the day. They spent time looking at photos of my wife to get a sense of the jewelry she prefers (which can be eclectic), showed me multiple on display items that were close, and took the time to find in the back room a perfect fit that was not yesterday on display. My adult son was with me and he commented that they were the Super Bowl champions of customer service. Highly recommended.
My son bought a new watch with a chain link band. The clasp needed to be moved to fit his wrist. I contacted a couple of places to see if they could adjust it. Windsor replied back within minutes. They didn't require an appointment. They said band adjustments are usually around $25. Maybe a little less depending on the clasp. My son stopped by after work. They saw him immediately and got it done in minutes for less than $25. I'm so impressed by the level of customer service, for such a small task. We both were treated with respect, got quick responses, and it was fixed professionally. 🙏
Jeremy and Julie were amazing! I walked in to kill time waiting for my partner and ended up talking with Jeremy about whiskey and bourbons. Not only did I buy a beautiful necklace that they helped me turn into a bracelet, I received some great whiskey recommendations from Jeremy! Julie took the time to help me extend the bracelet length with an extra chain and cut off the designer branded tag. Highly recommend (for jewelry and great conversation) and will be visiting again next year!
