One star ONLY because the food was decent (and 0 stars isn't an option). I'm clearly not the only one with the same experience but VIP section really only means you paid extra to be there. NO service, no accountability and nobody cared, even after voicing my concerns. Thanks for the chips and dip with 4 minutes left in our hour. WILL NOT BE BACK............. and admitting that sucks because a place like this, when managed properly, would be awesome to have in the region!
I’ve never written a review before, but I felt compelled to share my experience so others are aware of how things work here. I came into Splitsville on Sunday night. When we first arrived, there was no one at the front to check us in. It wasn’t a huge deal to us, and we eventually got our lane and everything was fine, but the real highlight of the night was the staff. We were greeted by a young male server whose service was absolutely amazing. Later, I went to the bar and had a great chat with the young male bartender as well. Both of these guys went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. However, I was disappointed when I asked how tipping works. They mentioned that tips are pooled and split equally among everyone working in the building. To me, that doesn't make sense. My experience wasn't great because of "everyone", it was great specifically because of those two. They earned those tips, and they should be the ones receiving them. I actually went out of my way to go to my car and get cash so I could tip them directly, ensuring the money went to the people who actually did the work. My recommendation to anyone coming here: If you feel your server or bartender did an exceptional job, bring cash! It’s the only way to make sure your tip goes directly to the person who earned it. I am not saying the rest of the staff shouldn't be tipped, but they should not be splitting the tips evenly.
Great bowling alley/arcade place. Super cool/new atmosphere, friendly service, large array of food and drink. Will definitely be going again. Only gripe is the bathroom is a bit of a walk to get to in between plays.
That is an amazing place to have a BD party or a family gathering. It’s been our first bowling game experience, and we had a BD party for our 6 year old- all I can say is THANK YOU! It was PERFECT! From the beginning where the staff met us, to the delicious food, the amazing line and comfy seats, The drinks, the cleaning, the staff- they just made our day! And the top was the Video games that everyone got to play. What can I say? We will be back for more!
Super fun family night out - the staff are friendly, food is delicious, and the arcade has lots of really cool games for all ages!!! The Tom&Jerry air hockey chaos is very aptly name, LOL, and the Mario Kart was a favourite for all. Great place for a date or friends night out! Only feedback is that each person needs to have their own arcade card, as the cards would have delays on them, so it was difficult to use for multiple family members on the pair/team games (which would get expensive unless you can get multiple cards for the same cost?)
