I've been going to David's classes for years, I find them so helpful. The stretches help keep me mobile and relaxed, they counteract sitting at a desk too much and getting too stressed about life and work. I find the class so centering, there is a very relaxed, accepting vibe in all David's classes, come as you are
I have been doing these stretching classes with David since 2013. They have significantly improved my flexibility and assisted with minimising the impact of arthritis and fibromyalgia over the years. David is a great teacher and if you can’t make it to a class his online lessons are well paced to do in an hour. My blind dog always joins me for the online class - I guess she finds David’s voice soothing.
Fantastic classes; David is an empathic teacher who will help you get the most out of your stretching for all flexibilities, including working around injuries. Do yourself a favour and come along.
We have been attending David Heap’s stretching classes for a number of years. We really enjoy how he takes the time to ensure that everyone is included in the stretches and gets the best possible outcome. His instructions are clear and ensure that you can be completely engaged with each stretch. We have noticed that our bodies are not as tired and sore anymore and strains that we used to get in our backs and necks are a thing of the past. David’s classes are friendly and inclusive. They are not set to music like at the gym so you can really relax while following David's words. Highly recommended.
David is a great instructor. Very respectful. Very aware of each students level, needs and abilities. And most of all, he’s just a really lovely guy. I’ve had 3 lessons and while it’s all gentle movements, I’ve already noticed a lot more flexibility in being able to turn my neck and body that was lost in a 25 years old motorcycle accident. Ruptured disc that was surgically corrected, but by no means a permanent fix. I’ve been looking for a gentle practice the would work with my limitations and finally I found CalmBeing. I would highly recommend CalmBeing to you, regardless of age. I feel very safe in David’s care and if you need to loosen up some muscles, this is the place for you! Steve.
