My son and I ate here on a Friday night. We arrived at 5:30 ish. They were going to sit us in the bar area but I asked to be moved into the room with the fireplace. We got a table right beside the fireplace. The place wasn't very busy when we got there so I was a little disappointed by how long it took for our order to be placed. Our waitress was very friendly. I feel like it took a long time to get our food too. The place did get pretty busy while we waited for our food. The food was delicious. I had the special meat platter, 8 Oz ribeye,1/2 rack ribs, and 5 wings.. The ribs were tender and fell off the bone as advertised. My steak was cooked the way I wanted. The entree came with baked potato, beans, and texas toast. All 3 sides were delicious too. I had a prickly pear margarita. It was good but didnt really taste the alchohol. My son ordered 32 Oz porterhouse. His steak was a little over done on the edge, perfect in the middle, and raw closer to the bone. He said it was good. It took awhile to receive our check but they were busy at that point. When we got the check the pen didn't work. We asked the busboy if he would get us another one. I would say it was almost 30 minutes of wait time from the time we wanted the check and the time we could leave. The parking lot was overflowing when we left. I would recommend this place because the food was delicious. The prices are reasonable for a steakhouse. They had dollar bills on the walls which was kind of fun. The staff was friendly.

Amazing service and the meat is always phenomenal. Cooked to perfection. I had got the meat lovers bundle that had a ribeye, half rack ribs, 5 wings, baked potato and a house salad for $48!

I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others. Daisy Mae’s has a great reputation, but my experience fell far short. The service was extremely poor. I waited nearly 10 minutes just to be acknowledged, even though I counted seven staff members standing at the bar talking. Better training and stronger management would make a big difference because customer attention was clearly not a priority. I also had to walk to the bar myself just to get my water refilled. My server was bringing my salad to the table as I returned, saw me carrying my glass, and never addressed it. My water was only refilled once the entire visit, and the server spent most of her time in the back, out of sight. I ordered the porterhouse, and it was full of hard marbling and surprisingly tough—more like a low-grade choice cut than what you’d expect at this price point. For a $39 steak, the quality just wasn’t there. No to-go box was offered, and the overall atmosphere felt more like a bar than a steakhouse. Great concept, but between the service and the quality of the meal, this visit was disappointing. I hope management takes this seriously.

This is the first time I eat here even though I’m a native to Tucson. It’s more of bar type steakhouse, quite noisy. Do not buy the market priced steak. Our medium rare ribeye was about $70 and was thin, overcooked & extremely dry. Not worth the price. I didn’t return it cos’ the waitress did not come around to ask how my steak was cooked. So I just ate it but will probably not go back. The sides baked potato, beans & bread were ok. The salad was nothing great; it consisted of lettuce (which was not crispy or cold), diced tomato, cucumbers (I think!) & croutons!
