Ive been here twice. The first time i had their crownie. And today i got a piece of cake and a crownie. The guinness chocolate cake was not oversweet, it was perfect, however the cream was too sweet but still enjoyable. Their crownie is the best, cant recommend this place enough! Support the small bakery

A very generous bakery. There is no holding back on the quality of ingredients and craftsmanship, every single bread / pastry / roll I have tasted was a luscious experience of taste, texture, quantity, flavour. It's pretty to watch, it's a little messy to eat, do ask for a napkin !

I'd be trying to find a reason to stop into 101 Bakery for literally years, and when I finally made it I wasn't disappointed. You know you've hit gold when you feel like you're having an impossible choice just to choose a baked treat. Setting aside the chocolate babka, blueberry bostock and white chocolate and honeycomb cookie caused me physical pain. But luckily I had zero regrets as I bit into my apple crumble custard brioche - just wonderful. I'll be back every time I'm in Edinburgh.

Rosanna baked and beautifully decorated a three-tier cake for my wedding. She collected flowers from the florist to decorate the cake and delivered the cake on the morning of our wedding. Each tier was a different cake/flavour combo and absolutely delicious - I made sure to try all of them! Truly the best cake ever. Highly recommend 101 Bakery 🫶

I’ve used 101 bakery several times now and can’t recommend them enough, beautiful cakes that taste great! They made me an amazing custom frog birthday cake and I chose to go back to them for our wedding cake as well which was exactly what we wanted. I will continue to be a repeat customer!
