Great responsive customer service, delivered just what I requested on my rebuild. And fast. Got me set up just in time for a new gig in 2026. Only glitch was with email not getting through, otherwise 3 thumbs up! Highly recommend.
I came in with my computer being on the fritz and a fear that they’d have to reinstall windows. But in the end it didn’t happen, they worked with me giving updates and were able to fix it with no problem. Really a great place to go to and I highly recommend them
To start off, I was very pleased with the service I received at 1201. I took my laptop in because I couldn't get it past a certain start up screen. They were clear up front that due to the holidays, the estimated time of repair was two weeks. That wasn't ideal, but I was willing to accept it. A week after I dropped it off, I checked in to see if they had an idea if the computer (a number of years old) was repairable or if I should start thinking about a replacement. They were able to move me up the cue a bit and got back to me in a day or so saying that it would need to be replaced but that they were able to copy all of the files that were on it and could install them on a new computer I purchased. I wanted to get a new laptop purchased as soon as possible and asked it they were able to give any specific or general recommendations. And I was so glad I asked! They gave me some basic guidelines based on what I would be using it for. I went online, found a specific laptop and asked them their thoughts on it. I got the thumbs up, ordered it, it arrived the next day, then I promptly dropped it off at 1201. They said they would run an initial scan to make sure there was nothing defective with it (a huge reassurance since I'd just had an issue with an external drive recently), wipe it and reinstall Windows 11 without all the garbage and gimmicks that one usually finds preloaded onto a new computer. They also loaded all the copied files from my old laptop. Sure, I didn't want to buy a new laptop, but this was the best possible scenario I could imagine when finding myself in such a situation. Throughout the whole process they were very communicative and kept me up to date on the progress of things. Can't recommend them highly enough!
Awesome experience. I got lazy and let the battery in my laptop get a little spicy, so I had them remove it, but I wanted to do the replacement myself. They understood, didn’t try to upsell me anything or insist only they could do the replacement, and gave a quick turn around over the thanksgiving holiday. When I went to install the fresh battery I even discovered they’d labeled all of the screw holes so getting everything back in was a breeze. Great service!
I brought my PC to 1201 Computers about a year ago, and they did an incredible job! It’s been running perfectly ever since with zero issues. Their prices are very reasonable, and they kept me informed throughout the entire process. While there was a 2-week turnaround time, it was absolutely worth the wait to get high-quality service I could trust. Before coming here, I had gone to Best Buy and dealt with Geek Squad—and that experience was the complete opposite of what a good repair should be. I can’t thank the team at 1201 Computers enough! More recently, my boyfriend had an issue with his PS5 Slim overheating. I recommended he come here too, and once again, they delivered. They did a fantastic job cleaning and replacing the thermal layer, and now his console is running great. I’ll definitely be recommending 1201 Computers to all my friends and family. These guys know what they’re doing, and they do it right.
