Gene was great to work with. I called for an appointment and was able to bring my pc in an hour later. After a half hour, he determined that he *could* fix it, but given the age and current dollar value of my old pc, it wouldn't really be worth it. He went through a number of steps to diagnose the problem, look up the current value, etc. and determined that it wouldn't be worth it to replace the motherboard--unless that's something I really wanted to do. So I'm buying a new pc. He was thorough in his diagnosis and only charged a $45 diagnostic fee, whereas someone else might've just lined me up for a repair that wouldn't be worthwhile. Every step made sense. My bottom line experience is that this guy is smart, experienced, honest, and won't upsell you on things you don't need.
