I don't usually leave negative reviews but I chose this garage based on its glowing reviews so I thought I should add feed back to help other people who are considering where to take their car. Back in January 2025 I had my car breaks (pads and rotors) replaced at 27th Street garage. My car started making some odd noises after that. I took it back and asked them to check their work. They assured me the problem wasn't the brakes but that my front ball bearings needed to be replaced. My son offered to do it for a fraction of the price ($150 for parts vs over $2,000 quoted to us), which he did. But I continued to hear noises from the rear tires which only got worse as time went on. We finally took it in to another garage, which diagnosed the problem as being warped rear brake rotors. The problem resolved after they machined them and smoothed them out. I don't drive this car very much, probably 30 miles a week or so, so I don't think my driving damaged the rotors. I'm not a car savvy person, so I need to be able to trust the mechanic where I take my car. Safe to say, I will not be taking my car back to 27th Street auto again. They are very expensive, they listed about another $5,000 of work they thought my car needed (it didn't), and I can't trust that their work is any good.

Our go-to auto repair shop. We made the mistake of going to the dealer for a repair quote, then checked in with 27th Street Automotive and brought the scope and price down from $5,000 to $500. Fantastic service, honest guidance, and a team that truly knows and cares about cars.

Brought my Jeep here for a check engine light issue that a different shop couldn’t out, and I am SO GLAD I brought my car here. Daniel, the front desk agent, was so helpful, respectful and explained everything clearly. I got my car back and everything is working great. Will be returning for future car fix needs. Would recommend.

I had my car inspected there before I bought it and then 2 weeks later I brought it back because of radiator issues. They quoted me for a new radiator at $800 which felt a little high considering they should've been able to tell it was old but they did it quickly which I appreciated. When I got it back one of the fans wasn't reconnected and neither was the radiator hose leading to further issues. Will not be returning here.

I had an issue with my vehicle 3 days before having to drive 1500 miles across the country. I called the shop and explained my situation and they got me in very quickly. Staff was friendly, fast, and job was done at a very fair price. I will definitely be coming back to them for any issues if I return to the area.
