A beautiful gallery! I was there for a guitar clinic with Reb Beach from Winger/Dokken/Whitesnake... and was really enjoying all of the art. Highly recommended.

Such a cool place to see local art! The Purple Room was my favorite. Loved being able to experience it for free; will definitely be back to purchase something and show my support!

We finally were able to visit and just loved every little thing about the gallery. We found a beautiful painting for our home. Highly recommended.

Went to an open gallery night. Was disappointed to find next to no seating in the entire place. There was a band performing and folks standing watching the band, such that a person couldn't traverse the gallery or look at any of the art. I have severe sciatica and figured surely there'd be a place I could sit between checking out different exhibits. I wound up excusing myself through the crowd, then sitting on the steps below the door for the fire escape--which were dirty. I checked out some more of the art after resting, but the music was so incredibly loud I had no concentration. I went to leave and saw a fellow friend with back pain, sitting on what is apparently the only bench, and we chatted for a few. I'd love to go back on a non-opening day--but this event was clearly for a different crowd.

If you haven't checked out 31 11Art Gallery, you are really missing out on some amazing folks. I'm mentioning the people 1fir¹st because they really bring the community component to the STL art scene. The welcoming atmosphere, quick offer of a cold beverage, and ease of conversation are our favorite aspects of this great space. The artwork, however, is bold, unapologetic, and beautifully curated. I would show up even if the first statement weren't true, but really... it is. This team really gets it and shares the love.
