I had an excellent experience with Lee from able pest control. She came by previously to address an ongoing mouse problem and was very thorough. She set bait traps, inspected the area carefully, and identified several holes where the mice were likely getting in. She even contacted my property management company to stress how important it was to have those holes sealed, but unfortunately nothing was done. When Lee returned, she was genuinely surprised the issue still hadn’t been addressed, so this time she took photos of the holes to send directly to the landlords again and clearly explained the urgency of sealing them. On top of that, she went above and beyond by sweeping up all the mouse droppings, something I thought I was going to have to deal with myself. That alone was a huge relief. She was incredibly kind, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. You can tell she truly cares about doing the job properly and not just rushing through a service call. She also took the time to educate me on what was happening and how to prevent the mice from climbing onto my kitchen counters and leaving droppings everywhere. I had been stuck in a frustrating cycle of cleaning and sanitizing every night, only to wake up to the same mess again. Thanks to Lee, I finally feel confident this situation is being properly handled, and that once the holes are sealed, the problem will be resolved for good. Amazing service and a truly outstanding technician.
I'm from the city but have lived in the country for 20 years. For most of that time my only pest concern was mice, which I had more or less managed with live traps. But the appearance of rats a few years ago really threw me. They were driven from a nearby habitat to our property where we have wade pools (for the dogs) and sunflower seeds (for the birds). They never breached the house, but their digging around the foundation was astounding. They are ferocious diggers determined to get inside. The dogs pools were essential and the bird feeder had become a priceless and essential wildlife show. So I spoke to my neighbour, a manager at Abell, and we have been a client ever since. Now the rats and mice are under control, and I don't have to keep bait stations full of the ineffective bait sold by retailers. Plus, every interaction with Abell is pleasant and positive. I recommend Abell very highly.
Matt is always super nice when he is here. He’s informative and knowledgeable and provides great customer service. The one year comprehensive home plan was the best decision I could have made when this arachnophobia riddled person I am decided to purchase her home in the woods. My kids now know him as “Spiderman”
Very pleased with Abell and the service that Adam provided to take care of a wasp nest in my ceiling/roof. He did a thorough job and even ventured into the attic to destroy the nest. He was pleasant to work with and explained that if any issues they would come back within the 100 day warranty period, no extra change. He even identified some areas I may be getting mice into my attic. Much appreciated. Will definitely use them again when needed. Thanks!
Matt was great - very pleasant and knowledgeable. He provided excellent advice and took the time to explain what's going on. Within one visit, our carpenter ant issue has all but gone. The follow up visit was efficient - traps replaced and resprayed the house perimeter.
