These folks know what they’re doing. I’m 45-I had given up. I figured out how to love myself and that was it! Or so I thought. I recently moved to the area and I don’t why but I googled acne extractions. These guys came up and let me tell you-it was the right move. I’m THREE weeks in and have seen more improvement than acutane, differen, tretinoin…you get it. Acne is such a tough journey-give these guys a try. I booked with Kaily, her skin was glowing and I was like cool another girly pop with perfect skin is gonna tell me how to deal with acne. BUT she had run the gamut too! The ONLY flaw in this place is that everyone’s skin is like glass. They need to have pics of their before’s so you KNOW you’re in the company of a friend, an acne friend. I’ll update at 6 mo and a year. I have the HIGHEST hopes I’ve ever had. I wish I could take my senior pics over again 😉

If you have acne or a child with acne, this should be your first and only stop. I spent thousands of dollars over the course of my teenage years with dermatologists and facials and nothing improved my skin. Within weeks of seeing Julie, my skin issues were solved. I've been using their products since 2012 and recently, my husband's skin dramatically changed using their long distance program and products. When my kids are hitting puberty, Julie and her team will be our first call. Also, my mother, in her late 60s, came to see Beth and also had a skin-changing experience and now only uses these products (she's in her 70s now).

I have been working with Acne Oakland for 5 years, first for my adult acne and now for skin maintenance. I'm always happy with how knowledgeable and helpful everyone is. Thanks to them, and especially Arlene, I'm no longer spending time/wasting money trying to figure out my skin. Please just go if you're sick of pimples at any age.

If you/your child has acne, do yourself/them a favor & GO HERE!! We go to the Alameda location with Beth. My daughter HAD acne on the face & back - it made her very self conscious & I wanted to help. We tried some over the counter (but not cheap) off the shelf options, that would help 4 a bit, then not... I looked on line & found Acne Specialists of Oakland - LIFESAVER!! After the 1st month her skin was MUCH better & has only improved since. We been going here for ~1 1/2 yrs & you would NEVER thing she ever had any skin issues!!

I’ve started my journey of clear skin and within six months my skin looks great. I’m well on my way to feeling more confident with clear skin, thanks to Acne Specialists of Oakland. Francesca (sp) has been working with me for a few months now and she is awesome! An added bonus is the receptionist. I have great conversations with her and she is super friendly.
