Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to formally complain about a recent experience booking bowling at your venue. Your website advertises unlimited bowling at £12.50 per person. At no point online does it state that there is a minimum number of individuals required for a booking, nor does it explain that a single child would be charged £25. This information is also not quoted anywhere within your published terms and conditions. Due to the lack of clarity online, I had no option but to call to proceed with the booking. I was then informed that I would be required to pay £25 for one child to bowl. This came as a surprise, as this cost is not clearly disclosed anywhere prior to booking. I believe this lack of transparency is misleading and unacceptable, as customers are unable to make an informed decision based on the information provided. To make matters worse, when I queried this charge over the phone, the staff member I spoke to was extremely rude and unapologetic. I was dismissively told, “it’s the rules, love,” and it was made clear that my concern — or indeed my custom — was of no importance. This manner of communication is wholly inappropriate and falls far below an acceptable standard of customer service. Had the minimum number requirement and the £25 charge been clearly stated online or within your terms and conditions, this situation could have been avoided entirely. Instead, I was placed in a position where I felt pressured to pay a fee that was never properly disclosed. I would appreciate a written explanation as to why this information is not clearly advertised, along with details of how you intend to address both the lack of transparency and the poor customer service I experienced. I would also like to know whether a refund or goodwill gesture will be offered in light of this situation. I look forward to your response, many thanks.

Birthday Party. Brilliant experience from start to finish. Staff were very helpful and accommodating even considering we had extra arrivals on the day. Absolutely couldn’t fault the event. Pizza was great and staff were very attentive to keep the refillable drinks topped up. Will definitely be back and will no doubt be there for future parties! The fact they still use proper pins without strings is one of the reasons that keeps us coming back! Authentic bowling!

Reasonable during peak times as well. Car park easily available. On one of the lanes - the left side bar didn't close properly - would have to manually pull it for it to work. Overall good experience. Good customer service too.

Great time at Disco Bowl this afternoon. The staff were absolutely fabulous (and no I don’t know them!). Really helpful and good humoured.

Great place to bowl excellent lanes and fabulous staff. Much cheaper than all the other places in Birmingham and far nicer! Always check the website for offers we have made some great savings
