My garage door was in pretty rough shape—it’s original to the house, which was built in 1997, so when the door literally almost broke in half as I was closing it this morning, I felt certain I was going to have to buy a new one. And naturally, this couldn’t come at a worse time. (I guess no time is a good time!) I first called Plano Overhead Garage Door, and they told me I would need a new door, which would cost me over $3,000! No way. Then I called Action Garage Door Repair. Jose examined the door and was able to tell me exactly what parts of the door were broken or worn out. And the best part? He said I didn’t need a new door; he could repair everything. And maybe the BEST best part is it would only cost me $750!!! AND, he was able to do all the repairs right then, because he had all the parts to do the job. The door now works like a new one, all thanks to Jose. You cannot go wrong by going to Action. These guys are legit.

We just replaced both our garage doors with insulated, double-sided steel doors, and the difference is incredible! After getting quotes from several highly-rated companies, Chris at Action went above and beyond to earn our business with excellent pricing and service. We upgraded from our old 25-year-old aluminum doors, and I wish we’d done this sooner. Michael was our installation technician with 11 years of experience, and his expertise really showed—he was professional, efficient, and the doors look fantastic and operate perfectly. Best part? The insulated doors have made a huge difference in our daughter’s bedroom, which is above the garage. Her room used to be hot in summer and cold in winter, but the new insulated doors have noticeably improved the temperature! Excellent job by our tech. He was thorough, helpful, and spent a good amount of time discussing our choices and options. This is a really good company- fair prices, expert installation, and overall great customer service. I have used them several times and will continue to do so. Highly recommend!
