After living with lower back nerve pain for years, and being bedridden and on crutches for three months this year, I finally underwent microdiscectomy surgery for a chronic L5/S1 disc herniation. Throughout this ordeal, Mauro and Chrissy at Action Physiotherapy have been vital to my progress before, during, and especially now after surgery. Mauro’s knowledge, practical approach to pain and mobility, and genuine concern for long-term recovery truly set him apart from any physio I’ve seen. Chrissy is a huge source of encouragement in the GetBack program sessions. Her warmth, patience, and expertise, working closely with Mauro to adjust my post op rehab as needed, have made all the difference in helping me get back on track after surgery. I actually look forward to my sessions, and both Mauro and Chrissy make the hard work of getting stronger feel positive and achievable.
