Both pastries were quite hefty — the biscuit was soft and buttery, while the gingerbread doughnut was generously filled with cream and delightfully spiced. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back to try their cakes as well! 😌

I popped in this morning whilst I was on a work trip. I got some cakes to take home for my children. Absolutely gorgeous food, gorgeous shop and lovely lady at the counter who served me today. Thank you, your kindness made my day. Emily :)

If there’s an option for 11 stars, I’ll give this cafe 11/10 !!!!! We went crazy yesterday. We got these: 1- cinnamon bun 2- apple cake 3- orange and rosemary cake 4- orange and earl grey cake 5- black forest oreo brownies 6- banana salted caramel cake 7- lavender latte w coffee shot THEY ARE SOOOO GOOD!!! The only thing I would comment is the banana cake, it’s a bit too dry for my liking. I usually made them using oil+butter combo, to get that moist texture. Well done to the bakers and team. Their cinnamon bun and orange cake is our favourite!!

Popped in for the first time today just after 2pm. Heard so many great reviews on social media and my daughter really wanted to go here. Ahh Toots did not disappoint. Such an amazing choice of cakes. It was like Christmas came early. The chocolate Guinness cake was devine and my daughter loved the Jammie Dodger blondie. The staff were so friendly & smiley. Although a small venue it was cute & quaint in an oldie worldie atmosphere. Watching people looking in the window with their faces lit up at the display was fab. Definitely will be back and will recommend.

Ahh Toots is one of those little cake shops that instantly makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. The building itself has that old-school charm, all cozy corners and slightly creaky floors, though I’ll admit it does get a bit cramped when it’s busy. Despite the tight space, the staff make up for it completely. They were so friendly and easy to chat to, really made the visit feel personal. I tried the chocolate caramel ganache cookie and wow, it was a real treat. The chocolate was rich but not overpowering, and the caramel oozed just enough to give it a gooey, indulgent center. Every bite had that perfect balance of sweet and slightly bitter chocolate with the smooth, buttery caramel, really hitting that comfort food spot. On the other hand, the sprinkle caramel shortbread was a letdown. It was hard to bite into and, unfortunately, lacked any real flavor. The caramel didn’t shine at all, and the texture made it feel a bit dry and lifeless. It’s a shame because I had high hopes, but at least the cookie more than made up for it. Overall, it’s a charming spot with some hits and misses, but chatting with the staff and enjoying a stellar cookie makes it worth a visit.
