Really nice bakery, I really liked the Pain au Chocolate, the sweetness of the chocolate contrasted well with the more savoury, vegan, pastry. Probably the nicest vegan bakery I've been to (as a non-vegan it still doesn't 100% hit it).

Stopped in here for a coffee and pastry at lunch time and the selection was unfortunately very scarce. However, the pumpkin pastry I did pick up was nice and flaky with a delicious a generous pumpkin cream filling. The coffee was pretty good too but was quite small for the price. Unfortunately the service was also quite disappointing with the lad behind the counter being blunt and seemingly miserable. I had visited their previous location before so I knew how great these guys pastrys and service usually are and so was left wondering if they're just having a bad day.

The place is very small with no seating inside. This comes together with a rather limited selection of sweet and savoury pastry. There was nothing savoury during my morning visit except for a rather large focaccia that didn't seem to be freshly baked - the dough was already too dry. I also ordered a double espresso which just came back as a regular one without any explanation or apologies. I guess the sweet pastry is probably better.

The best pastries of my life and I have high standards being French. That vegan almond croissant and the vegan Forest roll were absolute bomb.

Amazing hidden bakery - just minutes walk /cycle from Temple Meads. Highest quality croissants and buns & sourdough. All served with super quality coffee through a tiny door in the arches. Behind it a team work away baking the best artisan breads. BUT note - stock seems limited as they seem to sell mostly to cafe trade & by 9 ish they are selling leftovers - still amazing! Take away only. No toilets. Also find them on Too Good To Go app … which lets you bulk buy end of morning goods very cheaply. (We found it when Harts Bakery was closed - the pastries are of the same quality!). Free street parking outside.
