As this was my first time at Alexander Safar, I can honestly say that its decorated reputation exceeds expectation. From the second you enter the salon you’re met by a handful of associates whom extend the warmest of welcome. Joanne took the time to hand select the color combination and recommend a cut that not only left my hair healthy but ensured that it still was the length I desired. I will be recommending Alexander Safar to anyone and everyone.

Will absolutely be back here! A very professional but still warm environment right on Newbury, and I couldn’t be happier with the color of my hair. Martha was my stylist and she was incredible, with so much experienced and a wonderful personality to spend my morning with!

I spent a perfect afternoon with my friend getting our hair cut with Natalija. A perfect ladies afternoon out! Natalija Zirojevic has cut my hair for many years keeping me fresh stylish, and camera ready. Alexander Safar salon was lovely, welcoming and warm. I can’t recommend Natalia or this salon higher.

Christina cut my hair today and did a fabulous job. I asked her to cut off quite few inches, cut bangs, and add in layers, she nailed it! Christina was polite, empathetic, and funny. She would check in with me throughout the process to ensure I was happy with the progress. She also showed me step by step how to style my hair everyday, the tips she explained were helpful. Christina completely transformed my hair and I walked out of the salon with a whole new level of confidence. Overall, Christina is a wonderful and precise artist and I highly recommend booking with her! The salon was super clean and staff were maintaining the salon throughout the day. Everyone was lovely and I had a great experience, thank you!

Donika does my hair, and I get balayage, and sometimes just a gloss to keep it nice, she also does great hair cuts! I don’t trust anyone else in Boston with my hair because she does exactly what I want everytime! She just gets it 😀 5 stars for Donika!! My hair always looks natural and so beautiful!!
