Let me start off by saying how lucky I was to find this place and get an appointment so quickly. I was quite ill. I had arrived the night before and went out partying with some nurse friends and I don’t typically drink alcohol. The next morning I desperately needed an IV to help with my hangover but also my nausea, TMJ pain, and dehydration. I found Sound Shapes MedSpa after a Google search and reading other reviews of other places. As a nurse, I could tell that this place was the real deal and professional, so I called and was pleasantly greeted by Paul, the owner. He listened and answered all my questions. I booked an appointment and had my friends drop me off. Now, when I arrived, I was greeted by Paul who was empathetic to my immediate needs and passed me off to Lauren, my Nurse Practitioner, who was my healing angel. I can’t write a book here, but let me just express how wonderful this place is and if I lived in Boston, I would be frequenting this place often for all the great healing services they offer!!! Lauren is a true professional, extremely knowledgeable and has a kind, supportive bedside manner (as we say in the nursing world). I’ve had many IVs for nutritional therapy and she is/was by far the most thorough in her assessment of my immediate needs. Additionally, struggling with TMJ pain, I felt very comfortable getting Botox for my jaw muscles to finally relax. It worked and I’ll be finding a place locally to help me manage this. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I hadn’t met Lauren and Paul. Your med spa is top-notch and offers more nutritional healing therapies than most I’ve encountered. I wish you all the best.
