I just attempted my first appointment and have immediately cancelled. The new patient staff was lovely but the front desk was not kind. I got caught in traffic and contacted the clinic. They said it would be fine to continue on and attend my appointment but said it would need to end at the same time. I was fine with that. However, that call was with new patient employees and did not make it to the front staff employee. I ended up cancelling my services due to the interaction with the front office staff and all future services, knowing that would be an additional fee.

Where to even begin... Melanie has been an absolute game-changer in my journey towards better health. When I first sought her help, I was at a breaking point, grappling with emotional and physical fatigue due to endometriosis/ autoimmune issues and the associated challenges. I had the pleasure of getting to see Melanie Kelsey, and let me tell you, she will absolutely change your life. I came to Alive and Well feeling hopeless, lost, and out of options. After a very thorough initial appointment, Melanie suggested a plan to work with both her and Dr. Karla, the functional neurologist. One week with Melanie and Dr. Karla was better than 10 years of throwing money at traditional medical practitioners and therapy. For the first time in my life, I felt actually seen by my medical advisor. Instead of just prescribing me a medicine that would essentially be a bandaid, Melanie dug deep and found the root causes behind my health struggles. I went from being absolutely hopeless and out of options, to being filled with gratitude and a deep "knowing" that I am on the right path. Without the help of Melanie, I have no doubt I would still be suffering and navigating the world of traditional medicine with little to no results. I would recommend Melanie to anyone who has struggled to find adequate care, she leaves no stone unturned. I started seeing Melanie & Mel in December 2023 and I am so lucky to have them both on this wellness journey with me! It took me a while to book my first appointment here, but I am so glad I finally booked with Melanie, and wish I had booked sooner. Melanie is unbelievably thorough and makes it a point to slow down to ensure you understand everything she is saying, which is SO helpful! There is a "why" behind EVERYTHING that she does. I am so thankful for her knowledge and insanely grateful for her! She really takes her time with you and 'tests not guess' (even though her guesses are spot on). I cannot stress enough how amazing & knowledgeable she is!! Melanie also recommended that I see Mel as part of my plan, and I am so happy that she did! Mel has great pointers and tips for eating mindfully and healthily! We are working together to find out what works (and what doesn't work) just for me since everyone is different! I highly recommend seeing them both. Not only are they both great at their jobs, but they both genuinely care - and you can tell.
