Altea Gym has such a great atmosphere, I love this gym so far. Clean, welcoming, and motivating. Worth the expensive membership! Honorary mention to Celina H. She is hands down the best Pilates instructor I’ve come across. I’ve tried different Pilates with different instructors but her class stands out to me. Her instructions are clear, and she knows exactly how to challenge you while making sure your form is on point. I left her Pilates class sooo satisfied and looking forward to booking her future classes!

I created a membership online and felt overwhelmed given the size of the gym and the different types of amenities. Vanessa booked a tour with me and explained everything perfectly, I felt so much more prepared on how to access the gym. Vanessa was very well informed about every aspect of the gym, I was impressed. She had a smile on her face the entire 45 minute tour! Thank you, Vanessa for creating such a positive experience and start to my journey with Altea!

I recently had the chance to visit the Altea facility as a guest with pickleball facilitator and workout motivator Jennifer Eyre, and it was a great and lovely experience! She showed me around the incredible gym and spa-like amenities, and I was genuinely blown away by everything the facility offers, it’s very impressive. Pickleball was super fun and I really enjoyed playing it. I also joined a reformer pilates class with Chrissie and she was absolutely fantastic. She was very informative and helped me throughout the class, making me feel comfortable and motivated to keep pushing myself. It was an awesome and fun class! I also enjoyed Starbucks and soaked in the welcoming atmosphere, such a perfect place to socialize and unwind from a good workout. Thank you for the absolutely fantastic experience! Everything exceeded my expectations, and I’m still thinking about how enjoyable the entire visit was.

I’ve been a member at this gym for some time now, and it has truly become my favourite places to come to after a long day. The overall environment is welcoming, clean, and motivating! everything from the modern equipment to the spacious layout makes every session enjoyable and productive. I love the positive energy here, and the staff consistently creates an atmosphere that encourages focus and progress without any intimidation. A big shoutout to Kamaala, who works in the Active Kids Club! she is absolutely sweet and wonderful with the children. My Nephew is there often and always tells me how fun and light she keeps everything. Everytime I see her, we have fun little conversations and she’s always energetic and smiling. I can only imagine her warm demeanour puts not only the kids, but the parents at ease as well. Thanks to the excellent Active Kids Club. This gym stands out as a fantastic family-friendly facility. The combination of top-notch fitness options, supportive community, and reliable childcare makes it easy to maintain a consistent routine. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a great gym experience!

Altea Ottawa is an amazing gym — super clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need, whether it’s lifting, cardio, or group classes. The facilities are top-notch and the overall atmosphere is motivating. But the real highlight for me is Emma G’s spin class. She brings so much energy and positivity that the class flies by. It’s hands down the best spin class in the city, so popular you’ve got to book early because it’s always waitlisted. Totally worth it every time!

Pilates Space is a welcoming, intimate studio in downtown Ottawa specializing in reformer Pilates with a focus on deep body sculpting, control, and alignment. With a friendly, familial atmosphere, the studio offers personalized attention in small group classes and one-on-one sessions. Experienced instructors like Jacquie and Cathy provide supportive, precise coaching to help clients improve core strength, posture, and recovery from issues like back pain. Flexible drop-in options and unlimited memberships make it accessible for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
