I’ve been going to Pilates Space Ottawa for a few weeks now — doing Intermediate Reformer classes downtown — and I can honestly say it’s a hidden gem for anyone who’s serious about deep body sculpting, control, and alignment. What I love most about this studio is how intentional and precise the approach is. The instructors here aren’t just teaching a workout — they’re teaching you how to feel your body differently. Every movement has purpose, and you’re constantly being coached to engage the right muscles, move with control, and protect your joints. The studio is intimate not many people in the group, instructors cue you nicely and the flow of class is breathable. 🤍 Unlike high-intensity formats like Lagree or Strength, Pilates Space teaches me control at the core level — pelvic stability, breath-led motion, and small muscle activation that builds long, clean lines. After each session: • My core feels more integrated — like it’s holding everything else together. • I’m standing taller, moving more gracefully, and getting more out of Reformer. • My hip and glute connection has improved massively — especially important for my recovery and long-term balance. The downtown studio is calming, minimal, and clean — exactly the energy I want when I need to slow down and go inward. If you’re doing lots of sculpt formats and want something to refine your control and realign your frame, Pilates Space is the perfect balance. It complements everything else I do — and makes me stronger, smarter, and more sculpted in how I move through all my other workouts. Incredible Pilates class, especially for beginners. I took the Intro to Reformer Pilates and felt the price was very fair for the quality of the classes. About 7 people per class and the instructor did a great job of giving everyone attention and correcting positioning. Very friendly and great place.
Wonderful staff at Pilates Space. I have had back issues which have improved considerably since I started working out there. I started working one-on-one with Jacquie and have progressed to Cathy's reformer class! Both wonderful, friendly, and supportive teachers. Great place. I look forward to going every week.
Pilates Space is a lovely studio with a very friendly, almost familial, atmosphere. Many of the classes are available on a drop-in basis which allows for great flexibility - I can work out when I have the time. The quality of the teachers is great as well!
