My name is Lucia and im so happy i found Alts. Its the second time i come here but this time I was in a huge rush; I have an event on Tuesday and the dress im wearing, arrived to my house very late; as soon as i put it on, it was so long i couldn't walk (mind you, This is Saturday night) I desperately called them and they were so sweet to wait for me to come over and get service. Im beyond thankful, thank you to the whole staff, specially Malakiya who understood exactly what the dress needed and helped me out, you guys are the best and I recommend 100%!!

I went to Alts later than I should have (cutting it close to the wedding), but they still made sure everything was done perfectly and on time. I had all three fittings, and each one was thorough—they really wanted to make sure I loved every single alteration. Dhurata was incredible. Not only did she listen to what I wanted, she made it better. I was originally hesitant about doing a bustle because I’ve seen so many that look awkward, especially with heavier fabric. She showed me a bustle style I had never seen before, and it completely transformed the dress—it honestly felt like a second look and added such a fun element. I also initially wanted a wrist loop, but Dhurata was realistic about the weight of my dress and showed me how uncomfortable it would actually be (including cutting off circulation). Instead, she created a finger loop that worked perfectly and gave the same effect without sacrificing comfort. My trust level is a 10/10. Dhurata was so warm and motherly that I was genuinely sad at our last appointment. I hope I get to have something altered by her again one day.

New to Hoboken and AMAZING!!! Can’t recommend enough because of the staff and their hospitality. If you go, see if you can work with Alisha and Alex at the front desk, and get Dhurata as your tailor. Not only were they all accommodating, helpful, and very kind, Dhurata also gave me her honest opinion on my items and wasn’t just trying to get me to spend more money at the shop which I so greatly appreciated. I had used Alts through reformation before but going to the shop was so much better. Definitely recommend for easy and professional tailoring.

Atef helped me with alterations to 2 bridesmaids dresses. He was fantastic! He was through and explained exactly what he would do. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and got my dresses back earlier than anticipated! Both dresses were altered perfectly. He made sure they fit appropriately when I went to pick them up as well, which shows be truly cared about his work. The store is brand new, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Definitely recommend seeing Atef at ALTS!
