My furnace died on a Friday morning and within hours, Always had Craig out to help and assess my needs. He was thorough, very patient with my dozens of questions and made me feel confident in my choice and that they would take care of my needs. When Colby came out to install, he and his team were very professional, respectfully taking care not to damage anything in the house and did a very thorough and tidy job with the new furnace. The admin staff were terrific at communication and the pricing was very fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend Always Plumbing and Heating for anyone, their service was fantastic. Thank you for helping me get warm!!

After 6 months of being a Diamond Club member, I am changing my review from 5 stars to 1 due to having my trust in this company lost. During the original installation of my AC unit, the tapping point of the drain was at the same height as the pipe, causing a backup of water into my furnace and onto my basement floor. They did return and installed a water pump free of charge, which was appreciated (I am unsure if this was due to being a Diamond Club member or due to it causing a leak). They did resolve the immediate issue, but where my problem is that they promised to reimburse me for the dehumidifier, blower fan, and mold inspection that I needed to rent/hire because of the leak. I have had multiple people within Always Plumbing & Heating tell me that they would reimburse me and that it has been approved, but then leading me on for months without following through - even at the cost of more work. I kept being told either the only person who could make an e-transfer is on vacation or a cheque can be sent. Canada Post was on strike during the first conversations, so I said I could wait for an e-transfer. They never sent it when that person returned. A couple months later, I asked them give me a quote on a garage heater and said that I will hire them for it so long as I get my reimbursement first. They chose not to send it as an e-transfer or cheque. I was called a week later and was told that they will give me an updated quote with the reimbursement included on the garage heater. I never received that updated quote. I waited a couple more months and I contacted them again and was told that it was approved. The the owner just needs to sign the cheque. That was November 21st, so I waited a month. I still did not receive the money that was promised. On December 16th, they texted me if there is anything they could do for me. I said I want a manager to call me so I can both cancel my Diamond Club membership and get my reimbursement. I was told they would call me. Again, they did not reach out to me. At this point, I am putting in a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau. They've always sounded nice over the phones but I have given so much leniency and benefit of the doubt that now I believe they are intentionally holding the money from me. As someone paying for their premium service, I am very surprise this is how they treat their customers. I am leaving up my original review for posterity. I would have kept them as my go-to company for heating and plumbing needs but this damaged my trust with them. I've included photos of the installation and leak. Very disappointed that my business with them has ended like this. Original Review: Always Plumbing & Heating are true professionals. I had multiple quotes for an AC, and their technician Brandon was the only person to provide me multiple options for different models of AC units, as well as discuss different locations in the house that the installation can be. The installation technicians Kyle and Dan arrived on time, gave me a lot of notice, actually installed everything through the ceiling of the basement to make it cleaner visually even though it was a more difficult install, and stayed until the job was done. From the technicians to the administration staff I spoke with, I'm very pleased to have hired Always Plumbing & Heating!

Always Plumbing & Heating replaced our furnace and provided excellent service, even on Christmas Day to ensure our house stayed warm. Technicians Ali and Guru did a great job. We’ve trusted them with our furnace and AC maintenance for 13 years. Highly recommend!

Cleve Hypolite was the technician who fixed my main drainage, and he did an excellent job. He arrived on time, quickly assessed the issue, and clearly explained all my options before starting the work. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. The repair was done efficiently, my sink, toilet bowl and washer is draining perfectly now. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again. Highly recommend!

We recently had to replace our aging Poly-B. I got a few quotes from several companies. Everyone was fairly close. But we decided ti go with Always as they are a long-standing name here in Edmonton, so I have much more confidence that if there were any issues down the road they still would be in Buisness to deal with them. The quoting process was easy and straightforward. Brendan came and looked over our job. At this time I mentioned we would be performing a en-suite renovation at the same time so I would have the en-suite gutted to the studs for them. Basement was drop tile so that made the rest a rather simple install. The day before our scheduled 3 day install we got a call from the office stating that the techs were a bit behind as the current job they were on ran long. I very much appreciated this approach. I understand things can change and this was very professional. Tech showed up mid afternoon on day one, planned their job out, offloaded materials, and prepared for the next day. Day two was the hardest. They arrived right at 8. They tackled the second floor right off the bat. Knowing they were already behind the worked relentlessly! Keith’s do his apprentice Jackson were machines! They did their best to limit the amount of access holes they had to cut. They worked with me to install line in the new locations in my en-suite. Connected my new shower valve, and even gave me some advice on how to hook up my new devices in my Reno. They worked a bit extra that day to ensure they were setup nicely for the next day. Day 3. Arrive right on time at 8. They got straight to it and finished a couple small items upstairs. Then moved onto the main floor and outside taps. They completed the rest of the pulls and built a new manifold system. Worked super hard again that day, and by mid afternoon we’re testing the system. They did a good job of cleaning up and finished their service reports and were gone before 5. Very happy with the service and the friendly positive attitude of Keith and Jackson. A quick call to the office Monday morning got my my report to submit to insurance, and now I have peace of mind on not having Poly-B Highly Recommend
