Hey, I really like my Anytime Fitness in Uptown. If and when you decide to upgrade equipment, I have a couple suggestions: Bring in a stationary bike that is more adjustable (seat position, torso length, handlebar position) and has more of a form-factor like a spin-class style bike. The one you have now does not replicate an actual riding experience. I would also suggest a Woodway brand running treadmill: softer landings, quieter machine, and just an overall better running experience. Hope you will consider these options!
First, prior to 8am you can park on the street without paying. This made it easy for me coming into town for my morning workout at a different AF location. It's a nice space with cardio machine looking out at the city; fun to see that morning activity. Lots of space with a larger variety of free weights, machines and functional equipment. Basically, everything you'd ever need for what you'd like to get done for your goals. Oh, and clean bathroom and shower areas to get clean up up before going to work.
Anytime Fitness had such a big impact on me and I couldn’t recommend it more. I had no experience working out coming in, and every employee has been so helpful and encouraging. Special shoutout to Bryan who really goes above and beyond to make people feel strong, comfortable, and confident. He’s a wonderful trainer and I’ve never felt stronger and healthier.
Great, clean location with a lot of quality equipment. 3 squat racks, leg press, variety of dumbbells/kettle bells, and a wide open space for group workouts. That space is a double-edged sword though because there is a lack of machines (no machine for abs or dedicated back, though the fly machine can be converted) for upper body exercises with an emphasis on the wide open space. They have a cooler with pre workout and/or protein bars, a water filter in back, multiple bathrooms and nice additions like Theragun massagers to try. Parking is not free in the immediate vicinity so heads up there. Definitely one of the better overall AFs in MN and it wasn’t busy when I was there
