Warm, welcoming, cosy bookstore of dreams. It's got that wonderful dusty older book smell that just invites you in. Floor to ceiling shelves, stacked in all corners. Great selection, could spend hours together and still have plenty more to look through. Some really old books in pristine condition. Such a treasure, have to go back soon! The bookseller was also very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

This was a very satisfying experience! I enjoyed perusing through the centuries' old books and it wasn't too crowded. I had 3 days in Edinburgh and I went twice to this bookstore! That is because I didn't have enough time to explore it on the first visit. Loved it!

Very old school, eclectic bookstore. The irony is I only knew of it because of Instagram and the only annoying thing about the store is how much smaller it feels when influencers are trying to film their content. 😅 double edge sword. Not far off the beaten path. Worth a drop in.
