I am absolutely in love with my stunning new piece that I purchased from Art By Shalimar! They are so easy to work with. I now have Oceans Bouquet as the centerpiece in my home! It's fabulous! Thank you for your creativity and for all of the hard work you put into this painting! I am so happy I invested in this! I spotted Shalimar's beautiful studio one evening last summer and as I peeked into the window, I was immediately drawn into the calm serenity that is captured in her "A Peaceful Stroll". I felt like I could jump into the painting and just stroll into a magical place. I knew that painting had to be a part of me! I enjoyed talking with Shalimar and when she told me the name of the painting, I knew it was for me! She is fabulous to work with and her art will give you a real sense of joy! Working with Shalimar on a custom piece for my home was fantastic. I had been following her for a long time and knew that I needed one of her paintings. I love her style, use of color, technique and abstract feel. I shared my room colors and layout and let her know that I love lots of color and flowers. She painted something that not only hangs prominently above the fireplace, but makes me feel happy every time I look at it.

Art by Shalimar is a uniquely wonderful addition to downtown Cary. Her use of color and texture is mesmerizing, and if you’re lucky, you can catch her in the process when you visit. We’ve purchased several pieces for ourselves and gifted to family and friends. Her “Drained” piece (pictured) is perfect in our entryway and I love seeing it everyday. Definitely stop by to see Shal’s work in person.
