I attended a quill bead workshop with Ho-Chunk artist Melanie Tallmadge Sainz. The program Melanie offered was stellar and the Arts + Literature Lab staff provided a beautiful space for the class with lots of natural light, tea and coffee, snacks, hospitality and general good vibes. I highly recommend this venue and hope they will continue programming with indigenous teachers.

What a great spot. Free galleries, lots of events. Supporting the arts in Madison, one of the few places. Saw a recording session here that was next level deep. Drums were too loud

The music was absolutly beautiful and the location inviting and arty, the person at the entrance letting spectators in were warm and respectful the chairs to sit on were hard though...

Best non-profit venue in Madison, Wisconsin for contemporary regional art exhibitions. Fantastic avant-garde music series. Outreach programs for writers. This compact institution is a great blessing for the community. Go often! The space is in constant flux, just like our world.
