I'm a regular at Ascend. My kids and I started with the family intro to climbing course almost 2 years ago, and since then we've either had memberships or do punch passes. I've participated in yoga classes and slackline classes. Two of my kids have been on A-team. We love Ascend, and climbing has become our family hobby! Ascend is clean with lots of natural light. There's a good mix of climbs for us who are more beginner level, but also many more advanced ones. People are kind, and the front desk is responsive. At Ascend Point Breeze we enjoy the training wall (top-out) especially for our youngest climbers. The chili pepper bouldering wall is fun because it has a different rating system and provides interesting ways to practice and learn new skills. Point Breeze has a good mix of bouldering and ropes (whereas Southside is more bouldering-focused). Point Breeze has about 8 autobelays.

I'm gone to southside location twice and both times I did enjoy the place and great customer service!! Then chose to go point breeze location bc it's close to where I live, Surprisingly it was as big as southside ( even someone told me it's smaller) and the staffs are very kind, the Customer service, that's great as southside location!! That was WHY I decided to become to a member instead just do a day pass!! Give it a try and you will know what i'm talking about!!

ASCEND Point Breeze is one of my favorite places to go bouldering. They have a very laidback atmosphere and always a wide variety of easy to hard boulders to challenge me. This location is the first place I had ever tried out rock climbing and it is still my #1 spot to go. The staff is always friendly and helpfully and the gym is full of life and great people. I am also a big fan of the playlists they are rocking out to at this location. Thank you Ascend for having such a cool place to go climb and workout!

Weight-lifter of 14 years here, Rock Climbing IS A BLAST! The community at Ascend is so friendly and welcoming, I met many groups of people and genuinely worked together to figure out climbs. They make it easy to get started with climbs labeled by difficultly and really soft cushioning for when you fall. Ascend help me discover a new love, Thank you for inviting me!
