The best meal out and customer service I've experienced in months! Sapphire was absolutely brilliant, going above and beyond for us - even giving me different options for which kind of chilli I wanted! 100% would come back again. Awesome food and service - couldn't fault it at all.

Nika was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. She checked in at all the right times, knew the menu well, and made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. Her positive attitude and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience. Thank you, Nika, for the excellent service—we’ll definitely be back!

Went for a company’s Christmas meal, in which we pre-booked our food and had the 3 course meal. We were served by Jasmin who was attentive, happy to help, and greatly added to the mood. Would recommend for a Christmas meal or just in general.

The food was genuinely delicious, but unfortunately the service did not match the quality. My husband and I arrived without a reservation and were told by the waitress at the entrance that the restaurant was full and that a table might be available in 45 minutes. We stepped out to look for another place nearby, but after around 10 minutes with few options available, we checked the Ask Italian website—only to find multiple reservation slots available immediately. We booked a table right away and returned. When we approached the same waitress and mentioned that we had booked online, she was rejecting other walk-in customers at that moment and appeared noticeably unhappy. She then told us, “There’s a table upstairs, but you’ll be alone, there aren’t other customers.” We didn’t mind, so we went upstairs, where there were plenty of empty tables—soon after, more guests were also seated there. Throughout the meal, the service felt extremely dismissive. Staff seemed reluctant to go upstairs, continued turning away walk-ins despite available space, and offered no friendly engagement—no smiles, no warmth, and no check-ins after serving the food. Although the food was excellent, the entire experience was affected by the poor service. Good food deserves good hospitality.

The service was absolutely lovely and the restaurant is located in a very pretty little arcade. We really enjoyed the complimentary mini lemonade as you came in and the food arrived promptly and accurately. A star is lost because a beef Ragu was served with only a tablespoon of beef but after sending back it came completely loaded with meat as expected with a ragu. The staff were incredibly sweet about this blunder and it was sorted promptly. The desserts were absolutely delicious, I particularly recommend the dolce desert as you get three mini desserts for the price of one larger one allowing you to try a variety and the portion sizes aren’t insanely small as you feel you’ve had a decent portion of as well. It was a lovely family meal. If you’re a Tesco Clubcard voucher user, I would always pick ask over the other Italian restaurant chains available. I also offer a shout out to the cheapest drink on the menu, they’re delicious home-made lemonade.
