I’ve been going to Aspire for 10 months at a friends and PTs recommendation after an extreme flare of chronic pain after which I could barely walk or sit for over 20-30 min at a time. After working with Tonya, Wren, Jarrett and Karma I’ve swam in the Bay, surfed once more and hiked at elevation for over an hour and even been able to travel internationally again. All of this has been deeply affordable on a teacher salary too and I feel instructed with care and like I know the intricacies of my body better than ever especially when it comes to spotting signs of pain sooner and responding as needed. Cannot thank y’all enough!

I found Aspire Pilates Center when I was frustrated with my progress in yoga and working on my own. I am ... older ... and things weren't moving the way they once did, and it was causing problems for me. I spoke with Tonya I was so excited to have my initial evaluation and I was not disappointed. I found Pilates to be so very precise, I could tell right away that I was moving my body the way it was meant to move. Tonya and Irene are both excellent teachers and they pay close attention to each person's needs. The small classes make a big difference. After the introductory course, I have taken Circuit, Reformer and Release classes. Each has been an eye-opening experience, learning so much about my body and capabilities. I can't say enough about Aspire and Tonya!
I wanted to try something different than going to the gym as I wasn't getting the results I was looking for. I knew I didn't want to try the classes they offered at the gym because I wanted to make sure I was doing things correctly. After much research I found Aspire Pilates Center and called to get more information. Tonya called back while she was on vacation and set me up with an evaluation. After completing her foundation workshop I am amazed at how different my body is and how much I can tell the difference. I love that I am more aware and in tuned with my body. It has been such an amazing experience and I'm so glad I made that call.
From the minute you come in to the studio, Aspire Pilates Center, there is a great feel of calm and caring that lets you relax into the knowledge of Tonya Amos. She will talk with so much understanding and guide you through the exercises with the perfect timing, patience, clarity and strength, so that when the class is over, you feel light and settled and strong and deffinitely very happy!! I absolutely recomend her as the instructor, and this pilates studio, as the place for anyone who wants to have a very alive and healthy body. A lovely and intelligent place!!
