Love that Tandem Pilates has expanded to both reformer and matt classes! The space is inviting, the equipment is new (mostly because they're still a new studio), and there are many types of pialtes on offer.
This was my first experience with pilates, which is why I decided to take the Reformer Foundations class. I was really happy with my experience! The instructor, Shannon was really welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed my first class and definitely am planning on going back. :)
I called to cancel and reschedule my class due to sudden low back pain, and the woman who answered could not have been more unhelpful. Instead of showing basic understanding or professionalism, she came across as rude and dismissive, simply repeating their cancellation policy and reminding me that all classes were booked today. What makes it worse is that they keep my payment and will most likely resell my spot—profiting twice while offering zero flexibility or customer care. This kind of attitude shows that customer service means nothing here. I cannot recommend this business, and frankly, their staff could benefit from a crash course in Customer Service 101.
This was my second time trying Pilates and I was scared at first because my first experience at a different studio was not the best. I had heard so many positive reviews about this studio that I wanted to give Pilates a second try and omg I’m so glad that I did. This experience was absolutely amazing! I took the Beginner Reformer class with Cambria. She was so sweet and caring and took her time teaching us about the actual reformer we would be using and proper techniques. This class was challenging but I was able to follow along and when I was struggling Cambria was there to help. The studio itself is an absolute vibe too!! Definitely a safe space for everyone who wants to try Pilates 10/10 💛
Tandem has really changed the way I view movement and exercise. I had tried other pilates studios that didn't really cater to my needs, but all of the instructors at Tandem are excellent at explaining different muscle groups and making sure that your form is correct during the workout. I noticed a change in my body after a month of pilates, feeling less tension in my joints and more energized in my daily life. Sonialena, Shannon, Ryen and Jane are all fabulous instructors, great for all skill levels. The space is beautiful and welcoming to all - really comfy environment that takes the stress out of working out. I recommend this place to everyone!
