Fantastic tax preparation service. I have been using his services for the last 11 tax years. I initially found his service in a final act of desperation while trying to avoid hiring a tax attorney. I had a tax issue due to a $100,000 mistake by the Department of Defense. They incorrectly assessed a debt against me, then when proved I didn’t owe the debt they used a lazy accounting trick to clear it from the system and PAID OFF the debt by paying themselves. However, since it was tracked as paying off a debt I owed, it registered as $100,000 in additional income. I spent years struggling to find someone to help resolve this. Most tax services would not touch such an unusual case. Most recommended a tax attorney. Because it was unresolved, I ended up with a tax lien, and money seized from my accounts. And I was withholding tax filings to avoid returns being seized. Mr Lang was able to resolve this in a matter of a few weeks Including my delinquent filings. He has been my tax preparation service every year since then. His fees for an ordinary filing is very reasonable so reasonable I try to offer him a tip, which he refuses to accept. He is an incredibly experienced and professional accountant. I feel fortunate to have found him, and though he deserves a well earned retirement after decades of working as a tax accountant, I worry he will retire because we will lose one of the best tax preparation services in East Bay.

Mr. Lang is an expert in the complicated world of taxes. He definitely knows his craft. He is professional, yet very down to earth and has a very comfortable office with nice calming music. When leaving his office one leaves knowing your situation will be handled correctly.

Mr Lang has been doing my taxes for a few years now great communication goes above and beyond saves me time and money. If your in the neighborhood around Christmas he bakes home made cookies it’s the little things that count.

I had not filed taxes for 2 years. He handled my out of state taxes and was very nice, quick and professional. Very pleasant experience and a very nice man. The service was affordable definitely will keep coming back.

Mr. Lang got me a tax refund that was about 50% larger than I expected. He also sorted out a tangled tax situation and gave me a good deal on the price. Local and personal. Nice place.
