I cannot recommend this place enough for end of life care. This is the second exceptional euthanasia I have experienced at Mile High. Dr. Zahir was extremely compassionate and gentle and comforting, and she invited me to hold my cat while she helped him across the rainbow bridge. She made a very painful decision tolerable.

I absolutely adored Dr. Hennessy! I brought my Frenchie, Finn, in after he was misdiagnosed at another veterinary clinic back in October. After two emergency visits and nearly $1,800 spent on X-rays and medications, it turned out he had pneumonia that was never treated. When the ER veterinarian advised us to return to our original clinic for repeat imaging (which I declined), I came across Aurora Animal Hospital and Dr. Hennessy—and I’m so glad I did. She is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely kind. I am beyond happy we found this clinic.

We got a new kitten recently and this hospital was recommended to me. I am thoroughly impressed with the communication received at a kitty parent and the care my baby got. Everyone loved her. I highly recommend bringing your dog, cat or exotic here! Here’s little Ellie, happy as can be with the vet’s care. Thank you!

I love this veterinary practice!!! Every vet I have seen has been kind and caring and more than willing to answer all my questions regarding my dog’s health. I feel like they take a lot of time to get to know your pet and always provide options for care. I also like that the vet tech gives you an estimated price before you see the veterinarian. And, they always call the day after an appointment to see how your pet is doing. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with a dog.

We recently adopted a new dog from Humane Colorado and with that adoption, was given a free veterinary check up with a participating vet’s office. We were struggling greatly with behavioral issues with our new dog that were beyond our expectations, even as a seasoned dog owner and former foster. I went to the appointment feeling defeated and almost hopeless that Id met our match, at least at this season of life. The vet tech was lovely and kind with an empathetic, listening ear. Dr. Trujillo then came in, having been briefed on what I told the tech. Her compassion at our appointment yesterday meant so much to me. She truly seemed to feel and understand my frustration with zero judgement. She took the extra time to find resources for me and discuss a plan of action. I know this will be an ongoing thing we work on, but her understanding made me feel hope where I previously was losing. And the biggest part of success and winning is how we view it and I feel about the challenge and being equipped with tools from someone on your side to help, exactly what was needed! Highly recommend!
