I finally found my salon! I loved my experience here. Jazz really listened to me about what I wanted and told me what was feasible (how blonde I could get) during my visit. Juno did my cut and was fantastic. Already booked again for this spring. :)

Jennifer has done my balayage and Thomas has done my cuts for a few years. They are both good at what they do and just lovely people. Jennifer understood that I wanted low maintenance color and Thomas always killed the lived-in haircuts. I always looked forward to my visits because I knew they would do a great job. If I weren’t moving, I would keep using them!

I’ve already been twice to Aurora this year and I couldn’t be happier with their service. Leigh is an amazing professional and person, she’s very talented, listens to your vision and executes it so well! I always leave there with a impeccable hair. Leigh and Aroura definitely became my to-go salon in DC.

The hunt for my DC salon has ended. Aurora has a lovely welcoming and relaxing atmosphere - not pumping out loud music which is not the vibe I’m looking for. It seems to attract clients of a range of ages. Leigh has been great in suggesting styles of cuts that suit my fine hair and in tweaking the cut based on my feedback of how it wore. Highly recommend aurora salon

I moved to DC from New York in February and needed a glaze, so I randomly came across Aurora Salon on Google and decided to give them a try. I ended up booking with Jazz, and honestly, I haven’t been anywhere else since! ☺️ He’s such a sweetheart, gives the best blowouts, and really takes his time to make sure you get exactly what you want. He also gives great recommendations and makes you feel so comfortable the entire time. Highly, highly recommend him for any color treatments and blowouts — he’s the best!
