I came to Aurora for the first time last week, desperately needing a haircut but hadn't found the right salon in the city. Don't need to look any longer, this salon is IT! Absolutely loved the vibes, the interior was beautiful and the staff was warm, professional, and made me feel extremely welcome. Zoe worked magic on my hair and brought such life, dimension, and excitement back to my style that I deeply needed — plus, I had the best time chatting with her the entire time. I absolutely loved coming to Aurora and can't wait to return for my next trim!!

I've been going to Aurora Salon for a couple years and despite moving further away, I keep coming back. I 100% trust Thomas with any haircut and Jazz is my go-to for hair color (especially my babylights). The salon is really cute and always very welcoming.

Had my first every balayage done by Jazz, as well as the gloss two months later. Jazz did a FANTASTIC job. Already have my next appointment scheduled! Update: One year later and I am still getting my color done by Jazz, and haircuts by Juno. Very, very happy with the consistent high quality of service at this salon.

I had a very mixed experience at this salon. To start with the positives, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, and the stylist who handled my color was very kind. They also did the initial shampoo, which was gentle and relaxing. However, the color did turn out a bit lighter than what we had discussed. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the cut. I asked for 3–4 inches off, but about 7 inches were removed—nearly double what I requested. To make matters worse, the cut is lopsided, with one side being about half an inch longer than the other. Additionally, the shampoo experience at the end (done by a different assistant) was a sharp contrast to the first; it was very rough and uncomfortable. While some of the staff are clearly talented and friendly, the lack of precision with the cut and the final hair wash means I likely won't be returning.
