I was looking to book an appointment here because the shop is conveniently located near me, but I was surprised to see that several of the barbers specifically state that they do not offer fades or skin fades. That honestly doesn’t make much sense for a business marketing itself as a barbershop. Fades are one of the most fundamental and widely requested barbering techniques. Seeing multiple barbers decline to perform such a standard haircut is confusing and, frankly, disappointing. A barbershop should be able to handle core barbering services that clients expect across all hair types and styles. If those services aren’t offered, it may be more accurate to position the business as a hair salon rather than a traditional barbershop. I ended up booking elsewhere because of this. Hopefully the shop considers expanding the skill sets or service offerings of the barbers so clients looking for basic barber cuts like fades can actually get them here.
