Came back today to do the Salem room and Jillian was great and very helpful with all the clues we needed since there were only 3 of us. I thought I had posted a review for Ben back in December but apparently it did not go through. Ben was also great and helped a large group of us through the Santa room. We’ll definitely be coming back for one of the rooms we haven’t done yet.
Back in Time Escape Room in Frisco is such a blast! The rooms are creative, unique, and full of surprises that keep you thinking the whole time. The staff is incredibly helpful when you need a hint, and Victor was especially awesome. He helped us get further into the room than we ever expected. Way to go, Victor! Highly recommend this place for a great night out or day in with family and friends!
We did the Salem Witch room and had an enjoyable experience! The immersion and effects were well done. The space felt clean and functional. The puzzles for this room has a nice variety with a few "aha!" moments. I'd say it was medium difficulty but a good choice if you have inexperienced players with you. The atmosphere was spooky but it's not a "scary" escape room. The staff (Jareth and Victor) were welcoming and friendly. Our GM, Victor was clearly attentive, helpful, and following our game. The directions we were given specific to our game at the briefing were relevant. The rooms are private (big plus!). You are required to check in 15 mins before the actual game start time . Keep that in mind because the location is inside Stonebriar Mall (right outside Dillard's, lower level) - account for parking and walk time. They have a pretty good, flexible return customer policy you can avail at any time for their other rooms (provided you pay for it). We will be returning to play the other games!
I wanted to give a shout out to a great guy who is in my view the King of "Back in Time" Escape Rooms. His name is Jareth, not to be confused with the Goblin King from the movie labyrinth. This man has more energy then most people that have taken 10 large monster energy drinks and survived. He knows the whole place and is absolutely very accommodating to answer questions and make you feel welcome. I'm encouraging people that want to learn how to use their cognitive abilities to find truth and uncover hidden secrets to actually go to these games and to use this opportunity to become a detective of your own. I've included the prices I've included the names of the games and some of the other merchandise that you can get from the place which of course is all very reasonable and by all means bring your family to these things because this is an entire group sport fun activity. This is your chance to learn that you are in fact capable of solving crimes and to make a difference in the world when you're not actually trapped and in the side of a room. People will be there the whole time to make sure that if you're claustrophobic that you can get out and if you get stumped with some sort of question or a hidden clue they can give you some hints. But I want you to take the time to go and meet Jareth and realize that this guy is the genuine article of salesmanship and customer service perfection he is your friend and he is going to make you want to come back to that place again and again with all of your friends so that you can win. If you lose don't worry it's a game and there are funny little signs that you can hold up at the end to let your inadequacies be blamed on somebody else. Happy hunting my good friends on the escape room and I hope you don't get trapped for real. Hahaha just joking?
We did the vampire slayers game and it was a truly excellent game. We’ve played more than 60 escape room games as a couple sometimes with an additional friend or two this game we played with three players and it was so totally awesome. Lites sounds physical puzzles high-tech puzzles a really great experience. Our game master was Melanie and she was excellent.
