Visited Bad Bunny Cafe on a sunny afternoon and wow – this place delivers on every level! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and buzzing with good energy. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being over-the-top – they even remembered our coffee order when we came back the next day. The coffee is seriously next-level: smooth, rich flat white made with Allpress beans that was one of the best I’ve had in Canberra. My partner had the long black and raved about how perfectly balanced it was – not too bitter, just pure flavour. Food-wise, we went for the smashed avo on sourdough with poached eggs and the big brekkie.Everything was fresh, generously portioned, and beautifully presented. The avo was creamy with just the right hit of lemon and chilli, eggs cooked perfectly runny, and the bacon in the bowl was crispy heaven. Portions are hearty – we left stuffed and happy without feeling weighed down. The space itself is bright and airy with cool industrial touches, plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor), Perfect for a relaxed brunch, catch-up with friends, or even working remotely (WiFi was solid too). Hands down one of the best cafe experiences in Canberra right now. We’ll be back again and again – highly recommend! If you’re in the area, make this your first stop. ★★★★★
Don’t be fooled by the looks. Food looks decent, service is kind, but food quality is really sub par. I got an Avo Halloumi Sandwich which was ok (3/5) and an Açaí Bowl that was truly in no way resembling the taste of açaí at all. They should revisit with their supplier. It was not eatable unfortunately I left hungry. Clearly, somebody is screwed here (the customer). Also, avoid the tables to the right. Two times I had cockroaches climbing my thongs.
Came to Canberra to visit family, so I took this opportunity to check out local Spots with the limited time I had. When I walked in I saw a guy walking to the counter and asked him if I needed to order at the counter or was it table service. He mightve been in the middle of something, so he told me to find a seat and someone would be out. So my partner and I found somewhere to sit and not too long after, a lady came out to give us menus and told us to order inside when we were ready - rather coldy, without a hint of welcome. Both these interactions left me feeling a bit annoyed and not really valued. I had just come from another venue up the road, and the guy there was incredibly rude to me, which is why I ended up here, only for me to end up with marginally better treatment. Maybe something was in the air that morning 🤷♀️ I have done food service for over 10 years, I get it sucks at times, I'm not asking for red carpet treatment - just a bit of warmth with firmness would go along way. "Hey how's it going? Be with you in a minute / Pop down anywhere and we will be with your shortly." Anyway food - Got a Fritta Stack and a Benny. I had the Fritta stack, which is unusual for me - it was pretty good actually. The negative was it didn't feel like there was enough. Both plates were about $20 each. The place wasn't very busy, orders came promptly which was good.
Delicious Food & Shakes! They were more than happy to alter the food order, ie adding and taking ingredients off the burger. Pancakes were on the smaller side, though perfectly delicious. Will definately be back for them. One of the very few cafes that actually have Fresh Fresh fruit. Not 'mixed berry bags'. Fresh variety! Milkshakes were spot on also! Staff were very friendly & polite. Was busy, though wasn't too much of a wait to get our tucka! 😀
We both enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken wrap it was delicious. My husband had old school Benny, which he said was great. The atmosphere was nice. I would recommend eating here.
