5 stars for the doctors. The front desk staff is terrible! Their tone, rolling their eyes, refusing to pass on messages to staff when you are physically in the office -“call later”. It’s so off putting I’m considering changing practices over it. And that would be a shame because we have loved the physicians and MAs. Fix this!
Been taking my daughter to Ballard Pediatrics since she was a few days old. Never had any issues with scheduling her regular check ups or any staff members. Her regular physician is Dr. Records and she is so wonderful! There has been times where I called and needed to bring her in the same day and there is always availabilities. They also have after hour phone line available to answer questions, and are very fast at responding non urgent question on patient portal. Also the little fish tank in the waiting area is a plus my daughter loves it!
We’ve had nothing but great experiences here. Outside of the typical monthly or yearly appointments, we can easily and quickly get an appointment for our boys if needed for other reasons. We primarily see Dr. Hall, who we love, but have also had great experiences with other doctors when he isn’t available. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable!
Front desk are always so rude condescending and unhelpful. I’ve been at Ballard peds with my 3 kids since 2017 and we like the nurses and doctors but wow why is the front desk workers always so terrible? Be warned bring your patience for scheduling appointments or checking in
My experience at this clinic was extremely disappointing. I arrived with my child, who was experiencing hives and labored breathing, only to find the office empty. I wasn’t aware they didn’t accept walk-ins, but given the circumstances, I hoped they might be more accommodating. Unfortunately, the front desk staff was dismissive, informing me that they don’t take walk-ins and that I had to make an appointment without showing any empathy or concern for my child’s condition. It was disheartening to feel that they could have helped but chose not to, especially in what felt like an urgent situation.
