the soft serve was not tasty and the service left more to be desired. check out angela's down the block, they have better vegan ice cream.

What a pleasant surprise. We went in after dinner last night looking for something sweet. I was not familiar with banan. I don’t know if it’s as healthy as it claims, but it definitely was delicious and tasted decadent. I highly recommend a visit. A taste of Aloha on the mainland!

Been here a few times and love that a lot of the options are refined sugar-free. Deeva (hope I’m remembering the name correctly) was so lovely and thoughtful about every order! They even checked the peanut butter ingredients for me and were kind and helpful in doing so. The experience was friendly, fun and delicious!

Conflicted about what rating to leave. I've visited 5-10 times now and recommended it to/brought friends since I've always had a great time with Banan's flavors, value, and service. However, went today (3/29) and ordered a large acai bowl with my partner, which was harder than expected. We had to repeat/clarify our order 4 times to the staff member, who was visually frustrated with us (for no clear reason; we both thought we were clear and generally friendly when we came in, since we were excited for a place we usually enjoy). The bowl was $17 and the cup ended up only being half full — I went up to ask about this, and the original staff member pointed me to another person, saying "He can answer your question." I mentioned that the amount of acai was less than expected, and he looked at it for a few seconds and eventually said (verbatim + eyes rolling) "If it's that big of a deal, I can swirl you some more", to which I responded appreciatively. I then realized he was giving us acai flavored banan (NOT acai), and we later found out the entire bowl was acai banan. For that price & lack of clarification, we were really disappointed by the bowl too. I didn't have the energy to go back up and clarify, with my partner and I honestly both feeling uncomfortable in the shop at that point. Going to take some time for me to come back after this experience.

Wow, this is really my favorite type of ice cream now. I used to have a yoNana machine and it was the same idea where the texture of a frozen banana can be exactly like ice cream and it’s so much healthier. Sometimes ice cream irritates my mouth after eating even a pretty small portion, and this product makes me happy without being overstimulating
