Went to this gym as a spectator, and that alone was enough reason for me to want to sign up for next year’s battle axe competition! Absolutely love the environment, friendly (but freakishly strong) people there. I can tell there’s a real team/family bond with the members there, and honestly, this seems like an ideal gym home for anybody looking to grow in the Dallas area! Definitely a must visit if you’re into strongman and passing by, but if you live in Dallas already, then what are you waiting for?! 🤘🏿

The premier training facility in Texas. Not only do they have ample equipment for all sport types, they also have an extremely knowledgeable staff and community that is deeply vested in one another’s success. I cannot recommend BAB enough to people visiting from out of town or someone looking to call a gym “home”.

I did a strongman contest at Battle Axe Barbell and the gym was pristine, before, during and after!! Lots of equipment and the owners are really nice/ helpful. I love this gym!

I’ve been a member since the gym opened and it’s only improved! There is a wide array of fitness equipment and I see people of all skill levels in there which is so fun to watch! I also love that as a member there’s 24hr access with a key tag, and doors stay locked otherwise. This really shows that safety is a priority which really puts my mind at ease.

Always one of the best gym experiences anytime I go there. If it’s to train, compete or even just to observe an event, I never leave without feeling part of the BAB community. I’ve made great friends through the location, and the atmosphere to succeed is always vibrant. The equipment and location is well taken care of and I’m particularly fond of the dog adoption events and the allowance of others dogs. 5 stars all day.
