Bella Vista Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights late April early May and we could not have been happier with the accommodations or the location. Our host were very hands on and took care of our every need. A delicious healthy breakfast was provided every morning to get us started. The Inn was centrally located to all of the restaurants and wineries in the area as well as being only 60 miles from South Lake Tahoe which was well worth the trip. To say the views from the pool area were breathtaking would be an understatement. We would definitely return here again.

Gorgeous, luxurious retreat. This is not your grandma’s bed and breakfast. Every room is luxuriously appointed with private bathrooms, beautiful decor, luxury linens and more. The grounds take your breath away- simply beautiful views of the Coloma valley.

We, and our elderly Maltese, stayed in the Rio Vista room last night. First, the room was amazing. It had everything we could possibly want fridge (perfect for keeping our pup’s food fresh), coffeepot, etc, in addition to a sandy, leafy patio that our little dog could use. The views were fantastic and just watching the waterfall in the pool was so soothing. Since this room is ground level, it was even better. Our little dog had to go out several times during the night (we tried to be as quiet as possible) which made this room even better. Then, the breakfast this morning was absolutely delicious and perfect for us…eggs, toast, fruit, avocado, juice, cheese, tomatoes, and coffee and tea. I had asked for the romance package and we came back from a fabulous dinner in the Enchanted Forest, to a room strewn with rose petals, chilled champagne, chocolates, and a delicious chocolate, caramel cake. It was beautiful and delicious. This B&B filled our hearts desires and really deserves a 10 star rating. Thank you, Bella Vista, for such an amazing night.

My wife and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary last week. Everything was excellent! From the honeymoon suite, to the pool, yummy breakfast, the great service and easy check in, cozy chair on the deck outside our room, did I mention the amazing view! Check out the peacock roaming around the pond near the relaxing hammock. We would love to go back. We are not wealthy folks and we did save for our anniversary trip and this place is worth their fee. We will keep looking out for a yummy deal next time. If you go, you will not be disappointed and you will have a wonderful relaxing experience! FYI, give them at least 2 or 3 hours notice for the poolside jacuzzi! The location is great and it is close to White Water Rafting on the American River. 10 minute drive for our half day trip. It’s 20 minutes to Placerville art galleries, craft stores, antique shops, coffee, etc. There are amazing farms and other exploring close by. Thank you for helping me to create a great anniversary memory for my wife!

The views are breathtaking and the location is both nice and quiet. A lovely basket was delivered to the bedroom door for breakfast. We enjoyed it on our balcony while watching the lovely peacock strut about. The beauty of Bella Vista is evident both inside and out. There is a bedroom with a large window overlooking the pool with a view if the hills as far as the eye can see, (this is the room where I'm going to stay next time). If you need a charming and tranquil escape, this place should be on your list.
