This place is a rip off! I paid out of pocket $585.00 for glasses. This is after I applied my insurance for $300.00. My wife went to Costco and was able to obtain glasses for zero out of pocket. When I walked out after the exam etc I thought to myself wow that was expensive! My wife called them to make an appointment . They never called back. Glad they did.nt!

My visit with Dr. Mac is always the best. He always go above and beyond about my exam. The staff their are very friendly to me and helped me pick different styles and pricing that meets my style and budget.

I don't recommend this office. I was given expired trial lenses for an older set of contact lenses and the optometrist was too lazy to order me the actual new Acuvue Max that I wanted to try. Then they ordered the wrong prescription and said that I'll need to come back to the office with the wrong order for them to order the correct prescription, but their hours suck and I live far away so I can't do this quickly with work restrictions in my way and I've run out of contact lenses since they had also double booked and then had to cancel and delay my original appointment. The front office has no clue what they are saying about the rebate either and everything is unnecessarily chaotic for no reason. Whatever they did at first for the rebate generated an email that told me I was disqualified for the rebate, too. I'm upset at my friend for recommending this business to me.

Dr. Mac and his staff are most definitely the best optometry team in the area. Due to the care that Dr. Mac and his team provide, my husband and I actually travel or 60 miles to make our appointments at Berryessa Optometry, and we will continue to do so. This team is great!!

Dr. Mac is great. He is very friendly and does a great job of explaining everything to me. He gets to know you as more than a patient. He clearly discusses the link between my diabetes and my vision with how important it is to keep it under control. He has a great memory and remembers conversations from previous visits that are clearly not in my notes. The rest of the staff is great as well. They are super friendly and kind.
