This store is horrible if I can give them zero stars I would. The employees have bad customer service I don’t recommend it at all. Two separate occasions I went to the store but this time was it . I went to buy a tv didn’t care about resolutions since it was for a 2 years old I chose one that was super cheap and I asked James if he recommend the tv and he said well for the price it’s okay cause insignia wasn’t that good . So I asked if we can test it since it was an open box . Not knowing what’s in the box it ended up being a oled Samsung instead so he said there’s a few things and he explained that it was a wrong tv and the screen was marked . He asked if I still wanted to see it and I told him sure let’s see how much it is and if it was a good tv I would buy it . He then went to say you know what it’s gonna take me a long time and then if the tv is 5 or 600 I wasn’t going to be able to buy it because it was 300 more than the other one . You can’t tell me I can’t buy something just because he assumes I can’t afford it. Never going to this store again . I ended up going to buy a new one from an actual Best Buy store
Fantastic Experience; Adrian is the Best! I had an incredible experience at the Best Buy Outlet on Vance Jackson Rd! I was looking for a new TV and Adrian helped me find an open-box 55" Hisense QLED QD6 Series for the unbelievable price of $197.99 even though it was listed at $219.99 on the website. What really stood out was Adrian’s commitment to making sure I was happy with the purchase. He proactively offered to let me test the TV right there in the store before I bought it, which gave me huge peace of mind. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the factory warranty details to me. I had some slight concerns about a perceived unevenness in the backlighting, and instead of brushing it off, Adrian spent plenty of time looking at it with me. Even though there were a handful of other customers in the store, I never felt rushed or like I was an inconvenience. He is genuinely personable and clearly enjoys providing top-tier customer service; he truly made me feel like a valued customer. The store itself was also very well-organized and clean. If you’re looking for a great deal and even better service, go see Adrian at the San Antonio Best Buy Outlet! Thank you Adrian!!! -Madeline
I wish I could rate this lower than one star. I don’t typically write reviews but our experience with buying an appliance here has been terrible. We were told in the store all damage is disclosed, that was a lie. We were told that it could be returned quickly for any reason, that was a lie. We were told we could call them and trouble shoot questions, that was a lie you get sent to a call center. The delivery company is contracted (they were the only reasonable people we worked with in this process) the dishwasher was damaged in a way it could not be installed (again not the damage that was disclosed we were told it only had superficial damage with a dent). And now we have just had a giant broken peice of metal garbage sitting in the center of our house for 2 weeks becuse after we went through the process of FINALLY getting them to let us return it pick up couldn’t be set up for 4 days. Refund takes up to 10 days and we still may have to fight them for the installation fee because it was never installed but for some reason they say it was. DO NOT GO HERE. You should really only be shopping here if you know how to fix or evaluate these items, the people who work at the store DO NOT know or understand how to assess these items damage accurately. I will never get back the literal hours and hours of sitting on hold trying to get in touch with people throughout this process and being transferred around to different departments. Each issue that came up I would be talking to at-least 4 or more people at a call center and being placed on hold each time. One call literally took 2 hours and it was one of many I had to make that day about this item.
TLDR: Buyer beware what you pickup from this outlet. The grade assigned is likely to be incorrect. We should have inspected and gotten more off…Stick to open box items at your local Best Buy. Our Saga: We have purchased open box televisions, sound bars…etc. over the years from many locations, but this was our first time at an outlet store. We purchased an ‘excellent like new’ television online and received an email that our television was ‘ready for pickup’. SOOOOO, we borrowed a vehicle and made a 90 minute trek to pickup our purchase! The team was very friendly but couldn’t locate the TV when we arrived so we started browsing while they continued their search. We found our TV on still on the display wall and let the team know. One of the employees said this was intentional so that we could inspect the TV before leaving (nice attempt, but then why were you looking for it?). We got home and mounted the TV, which had scrapes and dents in the frame and scratches on the screen itself, but not enough to warrant another round trip to the outlet. We turn the TV on to discover Best Buy had not reset the TV to factory settings and when we tried, there was a PIN number set that was not one of the defaults (clearly established by whoever returned the TV).Fortunately the call to Samsung for assistance was relatively simple. The TV overall functions and performs somewhat as expected, still not enough issues to warrant returning the thing. The most irritating issue of all is the state of the remote control (see photos). The amount of scratches on the thing had to have been done intentionally. The deep gouges prevent the remote control from working properly and will have to be replaced. Wish they had offered for us to inspect and test the remote while it was ‘ready for pickup after inspection’. Follow-Up: Best Buy corporate wasn’t able to provide a new remote, but they did refund some money based on condition.
First scheduled delivery was failed because Fridge arrived looking like it was in a fight with a truck. Second delivery they come out they wanted to drop it in garage even though we paid for compete install and haul away. At this point I called the general manger at store #2693. He made a call to non Best Buy delivery company and schedule them to move the frig into the house. The contract guys were awesome. I did removed all my items from the frig and freezer twice and had to put it back twice and and lost a lots of food to spoilage buy now and took 6 weeks of fighting but I have a new $18,000 fridge (paid 5k less at outlet store) installed. Thank my lucky stars for Ramon Paramo and his crew. Why the heck is Best Buy corporate still delivering to SATX from Houston? This great team at 2693 needs a local delivery unit NOW. If if wasn't for them I would NEVER shop at best buy again.
